Leading Edge Innovations is located in Readington Township, New Jersey (Branchburg, NJ mailing address). The facility covers 9,000 square feet of office, laboratory and warehouse space. The laboratories are fully equipped to permit the development of a wide variety of cosmetic, personal care and Over-the-Counter topical drug products. It houses an extensive product library, offering a variety of conventional and unique product compositions. The principal focus of the Development Laboratories is the preparation of consumer products that utilize innovative functional and aesthetic technologies.

LEI is capable of validating the integrity of these innovative products, which are intended for commercialization. The company ensures that the products are properly scaled-up to insure the highest levels of quality and reproducibility during production. It also provides clients with services such as coordinating performance, safety, microbiological, analytical and package testing, as well as conducting regulatory reviews.

As part of the New Product Concept and Development process, Leading Edge Innovations conducts product evaluations on each new product formulation to quantify aesthetic attributes and assess performance. Product/Package synergy is also evaluated to maximize the final product's market relevance. Through this process LEI creates the highest level of product innovation, which exceeds market expectations.

Product Profiles and Boards are created for each selected product concept to position the formula and package both in terms of the market trends and customer needs.
